The Detroit chapter came up with creative posters to get strangers interacting in public. Passersby were encouraged to place one hand on the poster, and leave a space open for a stranger to place their hand. Both parties were invited to answer a shared prompt.
The Detroit chapter came together and prompted participants to decorate pennies with symbols of either a personal change or a change they’d like to help spark in Detroit. Each time League members take a step in achieving their goal of change they pass a penny on to a neighbor explaining the league, the mission, and the task in which they are looking to change to spread the word and support!
