An Interventionist is someone that takes the time to fully understand a situation by being open to listening and collaborating with those around them for genuine change. Even though it takes time, that person puts in the work to better the situation in a way that enhances the lives of everyone involved.

2020 FELLOW PROJECT
TINY CITY

Charlotte has had a heartbreaking homelessness crisis for the past decade. Like other cities around the country however, It has grown into an even bigger problem months into a pandemic. Our neighbors in Tent City need our help in more ways than one but this is a solution that has been proven to be effective. Tiny City is an emerging project that will be co-designed in partnership with those who are houseless to explore and develop creative ways to change policy, raise awareness, and, in the long term, create housing opportunities.
